1) Credit toward Certification: I have passed Microsoft Technology Specialist exam 70-680 and I am now certified as MCTS: Windows 7, Configuring.

The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) on Windows Server 2008 credentials are intended for information technology (IT) professionals.

With this certification I can now be able to operate in computing environments that use Microsoft Windows 7 as a desktop operating system in an enterprise environment. I can be able to install, deploy, and upgrade to Windows 7, including ensuring hardware and software compatibility. Additionally, I can be able to configure pre-installation and post-installation system settings, Windows security features and network connectivity applications included with Windows 7. I can also be able to maintain systems, including monitoring for and resolving performance and reliability issues.

2) Credit toward Certification: I have passed Microsoft Technology Specialist exam 70-640 and I am now certified as MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring.

The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) on Windows Server 2008 credentials are intended for information technology (IT) professionals.

With this certification I can be able to implement and administer Windows Server 2008 R2 environment that has the following characteristics:
• 250 to 5,000 or more users
• Multiple physical locations, multiple domain controllers
• Network services and resources such as messaging, databases, file and print, firewalls, Internet access, an intranet, Public Key Infrastructure, remote access, remote desktop, virtualization, and client computer management
• Connectivity requirements such as connecting branch offices and individual users in remote locations to corporate resources, and connecting corporate networks

3) Credit toward Certification: I have passed Microsoft Technology Specialist exam 70-642 and I am now certified as MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring.

The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) on Windows Server 2008 credentials are intended for information technology (IT) professionals.

With this certification I can be able to implement and administer Windows Server 2008 R2 environment that has the following characteristics:

As an enterprise administrator I am responsible for the overall Windows Server 2008 R2 environment and architecture. I can translate business goals into technology decisions and designs mid-range to long-term strategies. I can also be able to make key decisions and recommendations about the following:
• Network infrastructure
• Directory services, identity management, and authentication
• Security policies
• Business continuity (disaster recovery, personnel, equipment, and data)
• Design of IT administrative structure (delegation models)
• Best practices, standards, and service level agreements (SLAs)
